Nationals is coming up next month, so it's time to get all of our stuff in order. I've updated everyone's player profiles with the information I've been given, so check yours out to make sure everything's up to date and let me know if I need to change anything. Also, double check your APPA profiles and make sure they're complete- if you don't have a picture, MAKE SURE you've got one uploaded before Nationals. [ DISCUSS ]

Welcome back!

First meeting of this year will be Thursday at 8 at Los Bravos. All are welcome to come check us out, and be sure to hang around afterwards for drinks. We'll be organizing this semester's kickoff, so keep your eyes open for our flyers we'll be posting around campus for the next big informational meeting.

Everyone,

Seeing as I sent out the meeting invitation so late and had some issues getting the email out, here is all the information you are going to need if you feel like playing in the scenario event that is being held this weekend:

1. We will meet in front of the Hendrix Student Center (in the parking lot) at 9:15 so we can carpool to the event (and to make sure all the first timers get there ok).

2. The event is scheduled to start at 10:30am

3. 5 of the Clemson Tournament Team players will ref the event (Kyle, Chris W., Harper, Jason, Cody)

4. The event COSTS will be as follows:

  • $20.00 for Entry, Field Fees, all day air
  • $5.00 for gun/mask rental (if you dont have your own gear)
  • Paint will be sold by the bag (500 rounds each) at special Club prices.

    5. No experience is needed! Come out even if it is your first time. Tell everyone you know and bring ALL your friends! All clemson students, faculty, and staff are invited to play.

    6. PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING SO WE KNOW ABOUT HOW MUCH PAINT TO PURCHASE FOR THE EVENT.

    If you're planning on playing on the tournament team this semester and don't already have an APPA ID, go here to register for one- http://www.paintball-players.org/cgi-bin/newplayer.cgi. Once you've finished registering, email me your ID number (chrisw@clemson.edu).

    We'll be practicing at Extreme Outdoors again this Sunday at 11, so be ready to pull out of the Hendrix parking lot at 10:30.

    Alright guys

    We are practicing Sunday at 11:00, that means we meet in the Hendrix parking lot at 10:20. We are leaving Hendrix at 10:30.

    Everyone try to have your gear set up saturday night and be ready to go so we dont spend all morning just setting up.

    Everyone also needs to make sure to bring cash or check to pay for your paint on sunday... if you dont have the money on sunday, then you dont get your paint.

    I want to be on the field Playing by NO LATER THAN 11:30!

    Alright, for those of you who werent at the meeting here is some need to know information:

    We are getting together this sunday to go out and play... nothing formal, just everyone getting together to go out and have fun and relax and knock off all the rust so EVERYONE is welcome to come out. We are meeting in front of the Hendrix Student Center at around 10:20 then we are going to make our way out to the field.

    We have all decided that our weekly meeting day will be on Tuesdays in Chilis at 8:00. This is EVERY week and we talk about everything you need to know to keep up with the team at these meetings.

    Our website is going to be updated regularly again now that we are back in class so be sure to check that for any updates.

    Next week we are going to talk about club officers and start planning our advertising to the entire school so we can get new players out here so please try to be there if you read this.
