On October 3rd the Clemson Paintball Tigers participated in the first MACC Class A event held at PBC Greensboro. There were four teams at the tournament. The Tigers went 0-3 with the scores: Tennessee 7-4 Clemson, VT 7-6 Clemson, Liberty 8-3 Clemson. Pictures from the event have been added to the photos section of our website

This past weekend, a group of club members traveled down to PSP World Cup 2009 in Orlando, FL for their fall break. The event hosted over 300 teams from around the world. Some members chose to play in the tournament with non school affiliated teams, while others just went for the experience. Either way, it was a good time.

Clemson Paintball will be hosting the Southeast Class AA Event #2 at Paintball Central - Greenville on October 24th. Clemson will be entering three teams in the tournament.

The next Class A MACC tournament will be held at PBC Rock Hill on November 7th. The Clemson Tigers will be in attendance. In addition to the fundraising from our tournament on the 24th, we will be working a scenario game on the 31st.

Clemson Paintball is ALWAYS looking for new members. We are attempting to be more active with our recreation division, but football season makes organizing more complicated. Anyone is still welcome to come to our meetings.

Clemson Paintball meets every Thursday night at 8:00pm in Chili's Too.

It's been a long time since the news has been updated, and a lot has happened since then. Last April we went down to Lakeland, Florida for Nationals and finished a great '07-'08 season with an 8th place national ranking.
So far this season we've had two meetings and two practices, but it's not too late to join. Our first tournament is coming up on September 20th (Virginia Tech), so it's important that all players make an effort to come to all practices and meetings. More details will be given on team rosters at the meeting tonight.

If you're interested in joining the Clemson Paintball team, please check out the information in the membership tab. Make a thread on the forum if you have any questions.

Nationals is coming up next month, so it's time to get all of our stuff in order. I've updated everyone's player profiles with the information I've been given, so check yours out to make sure everything's up to date and let me know if I need to change anything. Also, double check your APPA profiles and make sure they're complete- if you don't have a picture, MAKE SURE you've got one uploaded before Nationals. [ DISCUSS ]

2. The event is scheduled to start at 10:30am

3. 5 of the Clemson Tournament Team players will ref the event (Kyle, Chris W., Harper, Jason, Cody)

4. The event COSTS will be as follows:

  • $20.00 for Entry, Field Fees, all day air
  • $5.00 for gun/mask rental (if you dont have your own gear)
  • Paint will be sold by the bag (500 rounds each) at special Club prices.

    5. No experience is needed! Come out even if it is your first time. Tell everyone you know and bring ALL your friends! All clemson students, faculty, and staff are invited to play.

    6. PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING SO WE KNOW ABOUT HOW MUCH PAINT TO PURCHASE FOR THE EVENT.
